Disability Pathway Mentor

Centre for Participation is seeking a full-time Disability Pathways Mentor to support people with disability to identify, pursue and achieve their goals through volunteering, learning, community participation, social enterprise and employment pathways.

This exciting new role will play a key part in delivering our YouthAbility project and supporting people with disability to build confidence, self-advocacy skills, community connections and greater independence.

About the role

As the Disability Pathways Mentor, you will work alongside people with disability to build skills, confidence and meaningful pathways aligned with their interests, strengths and aspirations. You will support Learners participating in Centre for Participation programs, social enterprises and pathway initiatives, with opportunities across volunteering, learning, peer workforce development and employment.

About you

We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion, person-centred practice and helping people reach their potential. Experience in disability, community services, education, youth work, employment services or a related field will be highly regarded.
