Apply by Sunday 2 November 2025

Are you passionate about community impact, inclusion, and social enterprise? Centre for Participation is seeking expressions of interest to join our Board of Directors.

We’re a purpose-driven organisation delivering programs across aged care, disability, youth development, volunteering, and employment through social enterprise. With two upcoming vacancies, we’re looking for values-aligned leaders to help guide our strategic direction and governance.

We’re particularly seeking expertise in:

  • Governance and strategic leadership

  • Aged care or disability sectors

  • Marketing and communications

  • Local knowledge of the Wimmera Southern Mallee

Board meetings are held in Horsham with virtual attendance available. Directors attend approx. 9 meetings/year and participate in strategic events and committees.

To apply, send your EOI, CV, and referee details to secretary@centreforparticipation.org.au by 2 November 2025.

Logistics Mentor (Fixed-term, 10 hrs/week)

Help deliver an 8-week food distribution pilot supporting local schools and community organisations across the Wimmera. You’ll coordinate the sourcing, storage and distribution of nutritious, culturally appropriate food from donor partners; keep the warehouse safe and compliant; prepare and dispatch orders; run stocktakes; and minimise waste. A key part of the role is mentoring people with disabilities in real workplace skills—building confidence and clear pathways to employment. The pilot is scheduled to start in late October and may extend subject to funding. Pay is $30/hr.

What you’ll bring

  • Practical logistics/warehouse experience and strong communication

  • Commitment to inclusive, person-centred practice

  • Food safety knowledge (or willingness to obtain)

  • A current Victorian driver’s licence

  • Ability to complete Police Check, WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening

If you’re organised, values-driven and keen to make a tangible difference in local food security, we’d love to hear from you.

To apply, send your EOI, CV, and referee details to vacany@cfp.org.au by 19 October 2025.
