Laneway is a food and hospitality social enterprise serving up great local meals, all while giving back to our Horsham community.
Being a social enterprise means that what we do is about so much more than just tasty and convenient meals. We invest our profits back into our community to change lives, futures and the broader Horsham region. Our focus is on opening up pathways for people with barriers to employment to work with us at Laneway and get involved – no matter what their background or level of experience. We can find a role that suits each person to help them grow their work and life skills, make friends, and get involved in the community.
It’s also easy for local people to get meals through Laneway’s different services around town:
- cafe at Federation University – fresh and budget-friendly food to go
- Meals on Wheels – affordable hot and cold meals that are conveniently home-delivered, making the service ideal for older people and people with disability
- catering – delicious food and meal packs for businesses and events, with a variety of options available.
As locals helping locals, we’re a meal service with a difference! Laneway is proudly an initiative of the Centre for Participation.
