Our community transport initiative aims to help people overcome transport limitations so they can still access essential services, maintain social connections, and get out and about. This is not for COVID-19 transport. Call the National Coronavirus Helpline on 1800 020 080 or visit the website.
We currently have several different services available:
Fee for Service Transport
We are able to assist you with your transport anywhere within the Wimmera and from the Wimmera to as far as Ballarat. This service is provided at a cost and relies on the availability of a vehicle and a suitable volunteer.
Transport (please call us on 5382 5607)
This service is underpinned by volunteers to assist you to get to much needed non-urgent medial appointments and other such appointments as required. This is not for COVID-19 transport. Call the National Coronavirus Helpline on 1800 020 080 or visit the website. If you are over 65 years and need a non-urgent medical appointment, please visit myagedcare.gov.au or ring 1800 200 422 and request your transport services through the Centre for Participation.
