Nominations are now open for the 2019 Volunteering Recognition Awards.
The Volunteering Recognition Awards celebrate the role volunteers play across the region and bring together individuals and organisations in acknowledging outstanding achievements.
A great opportunity to recognise the remarkable efforts of volunteers, volunteer programs and volunteer-involving organisations, Centre for Participation is delighted to have 1089 3WM, Mixx FM and The Weekly Advertiser on board as the major sponsor of the awards in 2019 following many years of invaluable support.
2019 will see the introduction of several new initiatives, including the introduction of the Bendigo Bank People’s Choice award, while February 21 will launch the new Community Roadshows aimed at assisting communities with the nomination process.
The 2019 Volunteering Recognition Awards will be hosted at Horsham Town Hall on Friday, May 17.
