About Us:
MyCareCrew Home Help is a social enterprise initiative by Centre for Participaiton with a mission to support older people and people with a disability in maintaining their independence, whilst providing meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities to build skills, empowerment and meaningful impact. We deliver trusted lawn, garden, and greenspace maintenance services while fostering social inclusion and skill-building.
The Role:
As a Gardening Mentor, you’ll play a pivotal role in:
- Supporting individuals with disabilities to develop skills and confidence through hands-on gardening work.
- Helping older clients and people with a disability to maintain their homes and gardens, promoting their independence.
- Providing guidance, encouragement, and practical expertise to ensure high-quality gardening services.
About You:
You’re passionate about making a difference and bring:
- Experience in gardening, landscaping, or greenspace maintenance.
- A genuine desire to empower others and support diverse abilities.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
