There are a wide and varied number of volunteering roles that will be able to use your particular skills, interests and abilities.
Before choosing a volunteer position, think about what skills you have that you could bring to an organisation, and whether the organisation’s core values and goals align with yours. Relevant skills could include:
- computing
- business skills (e.g. accounting)
- marketing
- social media and other technological skills.
Personal interests or hobbies are also important in helping you decide which volunteering role would suit you best. After undertaking our Introduction to Volunteering workshop, we’ll make a time to meet with you and discuss volunteer positions available, your skills, interests and hobbies to match you to the best volunteering position for you.
